farm & fibre Mill
"A picture can paint a thousand words."
"The Girls"
You will find our girls in the back pastures - separate from the boys of course. They are very social and friendly and enjoy the fresh hay all season long!
"Finni"
Just one of our hard working dogs - whose job is to watch over the herd and keep everyone safe!
"The Crew"
Our farm has quickly become a local landmark - we love this picture so much, we use it on our business cards! This picture is some of our 'girls' - before shearing - when their fleece is thick and fluffy!
"Our Logo"
Our logo is a play on words with the design having double (twin) imagery and meaning. The two alpaca silhouettes above represent two of the first Alpacas to move to the farm: JoJo (Black Sire) and Tinkerbell (Brown Female); who are still with us today. The two large Norwegian Pine trees represent those located in the north field and gave birth to our farms name. The banner represents the year our farm was established.
"COVID"
Well, it's been one heck of a year! Even though every single fibre festival booked across Ontario, where we bring our products to you were cancelled - we are not discouraged! We continue to sell our goodies in our farm store and soon on-line. When you stop by for a visit, please wear a mask, sanitize your hands and maintain physical distancing ~ thank you!
"Whiddle Kitty IV (Red)"
Those who have visited the farm know we have barn cats who keep peace and order in the barn all year long.
Meet "Whiddle Kitty IV (Red).
Let's just say, he is enjoying the comforts of the farm house (and all the toys that go with it!).
"Just Try to Resist This Face - We Dare Ya!"
Meet baby Ivan. Baby boy cria was born June 6th, 2020 and is thoroughly enjoying being a part of The Crew. He is adorable and ooohhh so white - we are excited - as his fleece is dense and squishy soft. Plus - look at that face - hard to resist!
"Gabby - Fan Favourite"
We think Gabby has as many followers as we do on the farm! She is definitely a cutie and a fan favourite. Have you ever known of an alpaca who comes towards you when she sees you taking a picture?
