Our Farm Team

Everyone on the farm has a role to keep things running smooth!

Dr Joseph Muise, DVM

Farm and Herd Manager

I grew up on a dairy farm and have been a small animal veterinarian for over 35 years.  Our alpaca farm keeps us active and I take the lead on herd health, nutrition and breeding programs.

Barb Bunker

FIbre Enthusiast - Mill Operator

After 35 year in healthcare,  I have now transitioned to 'all things alpaca' full time.  I love the opportunity to work on the farm and transform this luxurious fibre into finished products in the mill.  It brings me back to my roots and my passion for the creative arts.

Bella, Jenna and Finni

Alpaca Security Team

We are the  "Alpaca Security Team".  We enjoy spending our days in the fields with The Crew, but don't tell mom and dad ... we sometimes tap naps too under the trees - afterall, watching alpacas all day is hard work!

The Crew

Fondly Called The Producers

Our large herd of Huacaya Alpacas have the most important job of all.  You will see them spend their days out to pasture, or maybe resting in the shade of the barn taking a nap.  Most importantly, during all of this - they are growing fibre - and that is hard work!

PS:  The boys are always in the front pasture cloest to the road ~ and the girls are in the back pasture ~ (for obvious reasons of course!) :-)
