farm & fibre Mill
"Our philosophy of raising Huacaya Alpacas is simple.
They give us the gift of fleece; and, we give them a home for life!"
Twin Pines Alpacas is home to a large herd of Huacaya Alpacas raised for fleece production. As a working farm, life and activities change with each season. From our spring fibre harvest, to summer hay production and year round herd & land management - life is never dull. Public farm tours are offered on scheduled dates from May - October.
Our farm is unique in that we operate a complete textile mill on site to transform our annual fibre harvest into a variety of finished goods. In our mill, we make a variety of luxurious yarns, rovings, felt products and finished goods. Our custom milling services are available to fibre enthusiasts looking for the perfect blend; and, alpaca farmers.
Shop with us in person or online. A visit to our Country Farm Store is where you will experience the charm and whimsy of all things alpacas. See the quality and feel the softness in the wide variety of our farm spun alpaca yarns & more!. Looking for a gift, browse our seasonal selection of landmade alpaca apparel and imported alpaca goods.
Studio 65 is our new learning studio which will offer a variety of fibre arts workshops hosted by inhouse or guest artists. Whether you are seeking to learn a new skill, or brush up on old ones why not join us in our fun, safe and scenic environment. You may just have the chance to see the member of The Crew whose fibre you are using. Workshop schedule & information will be available on our events page.
