Farm & Fibre Mill
"Our philosophy of raising Huacaya Alpacas is simple - they give us the gift of fleece; and,
we give them a home for life!"
Twin Pines Alpacas Farm, established in 2010 and is home to our large herd of Huacaya Alpacas raised for their luxurious fleece. Starting in the summer of 2019 we will host "Farm Tour Days" for folks to learn about life on an alpaca farm.
Our mill specializes in processing alpaca, merino and other exotic fibres. We produce a wide variety of products on site from rovings, to yarns and felt products. If you see a product in our store, and wonder if it could be made in a different colour/fibre combination as a special order - just ask! If we can - we will!
Our Farm Store is now open on Saturday and Sunday's only. See farm store page for hours. We are excited to offer a little something for everyone, including a wide selection of handmade and artisan goods sourced from small businesses and fair trade organizations from around the world.
Studio 65 is our FUTURE fibre arts studio offering visitors and students alike the opportunity to watch, learn, create and be inspired. In the meantime, we have a wonderful deck overlooking our alpaca pastures. Stop by on weekends, bring your favourite knitting/spinning or felting product and work on the deck enjoying the beautiful scenery. Have a coffee/tea on us!
If you are a member of a fibre/spinners/weavers or knitting group - we are happy to schedule mill tours or come to your business meetings to share our story. Contact us by email for more information.
